PRIVACY POLICY

How we care for your information

Rooted Mama Collective collects information you choose to provide, including your name and email address when you request the free guide, and the name, post, or response you submit to the community board.

We use this information to deliver requested resources, maintain the community, respond to questions, and—when you have consented—send occasional Rooted Mama updates. Community posts and responses are public, so please do not include private, medical, financial, or identifying information.

Our site uses local browser storage to remember whether you completed the free-guide signup. We also use Google Analytics to understand visits and interactions—such as pages viewed, traffic sources, product views, add-to-cart activity, checkout starts, and free-guide signups—so we can improve the website and customer experience. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and receives technical usage information such as device, browser, approximate location, and interaction data. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or payment-card details to Google Analytics. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the available Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We use Kit as our email-service provider to manage subscriptions, deliver requested emails, and process unsubscribes. Payments and digital delivery for paid products are completed through Payhip and its secure payment providers. Rooted Mama Collective does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

We do not sell your personal information. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe option. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted by emailing support@rootedmamacollective.com. We may retain records when reasonably necessary for security, legal, transaction, or fraud-prevention purposes.

TERMS OF USE

Using this site and its resources

These Terms cover Rooted Mama Collective’s website, digital guides, printables, editable templates, free resources, and community features. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean Rooted Mama Collective. Please review these Terms before purchasing or participating. Use our services lawfully and respectfully, and provide accurate information when placing an order or requesting assistance. Purchases and community submissions should be made by adults with legal capacity to agree to these Terms; children’s materials should be selected and supervised by a responsible adult.

Independent publisher and retailer references

Rooted Mama Collective is an independent publisher. Our store-specific guides are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or official publications of Target, Costco, Whole Foods Market, Trader Joe’s, or other retailers or brands mentioned. Third-party names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are referenced to identify the stores and products discussed. Comparisons and suggested alternatives do not imply a partnership or endorsement.

Ingredients, product formulas, labels, warnings, prices, inventory, and retailer policies can change. Check current packaging, manufacturer instructions, and retailer information before making a purchase or using a product. Our recommendations do not guarantee that an option is the cheapest, safest, or appropriate for every household.

Ownership and digital product licenses

Our original website copy, designs, branding, photography, and resources belong to Rooted Mama Collective or their respective licensors. Community contributors retain ownership of their original submissions. Buying a digital product grants permission to use it under its license; it does not transfer its copyright or ownership of the original design.

Unless the product’s license expressly permits more, digital products and free downloads are for personal and household use. You may download, keep a personal backup, and print copies for that use. Classroom, client, business, commercial, or other expanded use is permitted only when expressly included in the applicable product license.

The product listing and license supplied at the time of purchase govern that product’s permitted uses. Where customization or commercial use is expressly allowed, those rights remain available within the stated limits. Later changes to this page or a listing do not reduce rights already granted with an earlier purchase.

Unless the applicable license expressly allows it, do not share, resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publicly upload the files or editable-template access; remove ownership notices; claim our original work as your own; or use our materials to create products for resale. Editing a template does not give you the right to sell the original template or its editing access. Rooted Mama names, logos, seals, photographs, and other brand assets do not transfer unless the product license expressly says otherwise. These restrictions do not limit uses permitted by applicable law.

Affiliate links and third-party services

If a recommendation includes an affiliate, sponsored, gifted, or other material commercial relationship, we will disclose that relationship near the relevant content. A qualifying purchase through an affiliate link may earn us a commission. An affiliate relationship does not make our guide an official retailer publication.

Third-party websites, payment providers, digital-delivery platforms, and template tools have their own terms and privacy practices. Review any account, software, format, or printing requirements stated in a product listing before purchasing. We cannot guarantee continued availability of a third-party link or compatibility with every device, printer, or software version. This does not remove our responsibility to address problems with products we sell or limit your statutory rights.

Acceptable use and availability

Do not use this site to harass or impersonate others, publish unlawful or infringing content, collect other people’s personal information without permission, bypass access controls, distribute malicious software, or disrupt the service. We may remove content or restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security issues, or legal obligations.

We work to keep our resources accurate and available, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free information, or a particular outcome. We may update or discontinue content and features. If a change prevents access to a product you purchased, contact us for help under the digital purchase policy below. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy, updates, and questions

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. Requesting a resource, contacting us, or purchasing may require related delivery, support, or transaction messages; it does not automatically authorize unrelated marketing. Marketing subscriptions include an unsubscribe option.

We may update these Terms and identify the revision date below. Material changes will be communicated, and consent obtained, where required by law. Copyright concerns should identify the work, the material’s location on our site, and a way to contact you.

DIGITAL PURCHASE POLICY

Digital delivery and purchase support

Products identified as digital downloads are delivered electronically; no physical item is shipped for those purchases. The listing describes the included files, formats, permitted uses, and any compatibility requirements. Payments and downloads are handled through the checkout or marketplace shown when you purchase. Delivery depends on payment confirmation and the provider’s systems.

Digital purchases are generally final once supplied, except where applicable law or the terms presented at checkout provide otherwise. We will address duplicate charges, inaccessible or defective files, and products that materially differ from their descriptions. Depending on the issue and your legal rights, the remedy may be restored access, a corrected or replacement file, or a refund. Contact briana@rootedmamacollective.com with your purchase email, order number, and a description of the problem; do not send passwords or full payment-card details.

Mandatory consumer rights remain in effect. For EU or UK consumers, any loss of a statutory cancellation right for immediately supplied digital content depends on the legally required express consent, acknowledgment, and confirmation. This page alone does not obtain that consent or waive the right. Rights relating to defective or misdescribed digital content are not removed by immediate delivery.

Ingredients, manufacturing facilities, warnings, certifications, and formulas can change. Always read the current product label, follow manufacturer directions, consider your surfaces and household needs, and consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding allergies, medications, symptoms, or medical decisions.

Do not delay emergency care or replace prescribed medication, an allergy action plan, or epinephrine based on information from Rooted Mama Collective.

Children’s printables and activities are educational or recreational resources. A responsible adult should check age suitability, supervise their use, and follow relevant product and activity safety instructions.

Share with care, respect different family choices, and avoid diagnosing others or presenting personal experiences as universal medical advice. The community board is public. Do not post private medical, financial, or identifying details about yourself, children, or other people. Do not post spam, unauthorized promotions, hateful content, harassment, explicit material, dangerous instructions, or material you lack permission to share.

You retain ownership of your original posts and responses. By submitting them, you give us a non-exclusive permission to host, display, format, and moderate them, and to let our service providers process them as necessary to operate the community. This permission does not authorize unrelated advertising or promotional reuse; we would seek separate permission for that. If a post is removed, limited copies may remain in backups or records for legitimate security or legal needs, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may remove content that conflicts with these guidelines or restrict participation to protect the community. We do not promise to review every submission or remove harmful content immediately. Contributions reflect their authors’ views and are not verified professional advice. Contact us to report a concern or request help with a submission.
